My poems/poetry reflect something or everything or anything, I ever felt at some point of time or the other or the whole time for someone or something or for everyone and some of my poems are just out of my wild imagination, and no resemblance to anything or anybody at any given point of time.

All my poems are for entertainment purpose and not to make a statement or to hurt anyone’s feelings in any manner possible.

So big that, their dreams give them nightmares.

Author’s note

Every time I feel happy I write, every time I feel sad I write, every time I feel something I write and sometimes I feel nothing and I still write.

For me writing feels like liberating, feels like freedom, what more do I say.

Of all the poems I wrote, here is a collection of my 21 randomly picked poems from my notebooks that are scattered across my room.

This is my first adventure as a writer, hope you like my work.

A writer within

Soon I’ll be an engineer,

And an artist,

And an entrepreneur,

But before I could be anyone,

I choose to be a writer.

One day you will be Free

One day you will be free,

Free to fly,

And see the heavens,

Free to dive,

In the depth of the oceans,

Free to think,

And act upon it,

Free to have thoughts of your own,

Without being judged,

Free to sleep,

And have a dream,

One day you will be free,

Just to be free.

Enjoy the chaos

I have seen people change colors,
I have seen men of honor fall,
And women of dignity fail,

I have been through it,
I was there,

This world pretends as if everything is all right,
For those who know that,
We are doomed,
There’s nothing we can do,

Except,
Sit back and enjoy the chaos,
We all are running into.

What a fool I am

What a fool I am,
To think you would come,

What a fool I am,
To think you would care,

What a fool I am,
I'll be waiting for you till the eternity comes and passes by,
Even though I know you would never come,

What a fool I am.

I ask you one thing

Oh, God!

I ask you one thing,

I want peace for my mind,

And nothing less,

And nothing more.

Oh, God!

I ask you one thing,

I want mercy for my sins,

And nothing less,

And nothing more.

Oh, God!

I ask you one thing,

I want freedom for my soul,

And nothing less,

And nothing more.

I know for sure

O! Boy,
Wipe your tears,
And have faith,

I know for sure,

The night sky will shatter,
The darkness will disappear,

Tomorrow the sun will rise again,
And the light will shine again,

The spring will come again,

The flowers will blossom again,

The love will come again,

Your heart will pound again.

A world without heroes

Not sure if the world has anymore heroes,

The world is full of cowards,

And a bunch of fools,

With so many masks on their faces,

And so many lie on their lips,

Not sure, if the sun will rise again,
For all hope is lost,

Never to be found again,
In the darkness, we all will die,
Our remains,
Never to be found again.

You

You’re always in my mind,

You’re always in my heart,

There’s no day when I don't think of you,

There’s no night where I don't dream of you,

There's no me without you,

You are the center of my world,

And I am always around you.

I searched for the gods

To the north where mountains touch the sky,

To the south where land meets the sea,

I searched for the Gods nowhere to be found.

Into the depth of the oceans,

Above the seven skies,

I searched for the Gods nowhere to be found.

I looked in the caves and in the Amazons,

I offered him silver and gold,

Some say, from the prayers of the devotees he is bound,

I searched for the Gods nowhere to be found.

The day you left me

The day you left me,

I was happy and sad both at the same time,

I was angry and calm both at the same time,

I was crying and laughing both at the same time,

I was confused and clear both at the same time.

Dreamers biggest nightmare.

I have seen things you can't imagine of,

I have been through stuff you can't even think of,

There are unwritten rules,
There are unspoken truths,

What will you do when you find out,
Your nightmare is real,
And the reality is just a dream?

Merry words can do nothing.

Merry words can do nothing,
This world is out of choices,
The inevitable faith is waiting for its time to come,
There are things beyond our understandings,

Our demise is on its way,
We have run out of time,
Continue your path or do not,
We are destined to be doomed,

A brain which can think,
It`s hard to tell,
when it is thinking and when it’s not,

The errors are off margin,
No corrective measures will work,

To hope is a foolishness,
Our case is hopeless,
We are the fools with the brains,
We fool ourselves to think that we can find a way,
It shows that we can't see what's coming our way,

Nothing in this world nor outside it is,
It's just we who are,
we are our own worst enemy,
The greatest enemy we have ever faced,
Or is,
Or will,
Will be ourselves,

It's a joke on us,
By us,
Forever and ever,
It’s we who laugh at us,
Yes, we are the joke,
And the joker,
And the audience itself.

What a wonderful way to die

I will grab her by waist,

And seal my lips on her's,

And kiss her so passionately that there will no space to breathe,

And no place even for a gasp of air to enter,

As we feel each other’s soul,

As we choke, and pass away,

What a wonderful way to die,

Like we are the ultimate martyrs of love.

I have seen people

I have seen people,
I have seen their faces,

I have seen their fears,
They fear the unknown,

I have seen their laughs,
They laugh at what they don't understand,

No outer enemy is a match to their inner demons,
They are nothing but their own worst enemy.

In Demons I believe

Let there be darkness,

In darkness I live,

Let there be silence,
In silence I thrive,

Let there be nothing,
In nothingness I believe,

Is it really my fault?

That I was raised among Demons,

And in demons I believe.

A bottle of Rum

Let this world goes to hell,

I don’t mind,

For now,

Gulping down a bottle of rum is all I care

About.

Let the Gods put me in hell for all the sins I ever did,

I will not ask for mercy,

And I don’t mind,

For now,

Gulping down a bottle of rum is all I care

About.

Let my family disown me,

Let my friends disagree,

I don’t mind,

For now,

Gulping down a bottle of rum is all I care

About.

Let their be a breakup,

And a broken heart,

With fragments all over,

For now,

Gulping down a bottle of rum is all I care

About.

The mines of gold

They are the mines of gold,
The libraries that are so old,

O! boy, don't be so cold,
Show some brave heart & be bold,

Pick up a book,
And have a brief look,

Inside the silent library,
Every book is screaming it's own story,

The people who are now leaders,
Once upon a time they were called readers.

I want to drink

I want to drink,
And drink,
And drink again,
Like I don't care,
About anybody or anything,
I want to drink and immerse myself into the world of dreams,
And dream about freedom,
Freedom from color,
Freedom from race,
Freedom from religion,
Freedom from borders,
Freedom from fear,
And above all,
Freedom from the illusion of freedom itself.

I want to experience it all

I want to sleep till the sun crosses the horizon,
I want to sleep all day long,
And days to come as much as I feel like.

And one fine day,
I want to get up and work my ass off,
Without discriminating between day and night,
Working round the clock,
To solve the problems,
And to achieve all the day dreams I had.

I want to build a tall sky scraper,
I want to build my empire taller than that,
I want to travel the whole world,
Till theirs no place left worth a visit.
I want to watch the rising sun,
And the dying sun too.

I have one life,
I want to have it all,
I want to experience it all.

A desperate poet

I was so desperate to write a poem,
All I could manage was this,

Nothing did strike my mind,
All I could manage was this,

Maybe my thoughts have gone to take a nap,
All I could manage was this,

Little did I know I wrote something,
All I could manage was this,

May be this is a terrible poem, but still,
All I could manage was this.

End is the new beginning

I wish I could go back in time,
To correct something in my past,
Sometimes I wish I was a tree,
And stayed there without moving on,

Now that I have come a long way,
Now that I can't afford to go back,
No matter how much I wish,
No matter how much I miss,
There's no turning back,
There's no going back,

The end is the means to a new start,
If this is the end of this poem,
Then there will be a new one to start.
