The Truth About Penguins

One summer day the penguins declared

War on the world, a takeover herd

The lines were drawn, they came at night

The brave and the good were sent into flight

Life became dark in that fateful summer

The strong went to hide and the weak did a runner

Into slavery the humans were taken

No fun, no joy, their lives were forsaken

The land became ice and darkness it fell

The world that we knew was turned into hell

Rake ice, make snow at the penguins' demands

Nothing but fish, not even bananas

But out of darkness is where heroes emerge

The brave and the crazy, with lives on the edge

To take a stand and fight for freedom

A true leader, a soul to believe in

She was small she was slight but her heart was pure

She had strength untold and courage more

She rallied an army of the broken and brave

She called them to battle and their hearts they gave

Young Molly The Brave, the leader anointed

With troops at the ready and generals appointed

High on adventure and up for a fight

Sat on a warhorse and bathed in red light

Revolution started, the penguins were shocked

Blood on the ice and brains on the rocks

Many brave soldiers died that day

But penguins too, who were taken away

The war raged on through rain and hail

Molly’s fearless army fought tooth and nail

But the penguins brought out their magic guns

And turned the soldiers into virgin nuns

The nuns started shrieking and then ran away

Hid in the convents out of harm’s way

Crushed and defeated Molly fell back to Earth

Came for forgiveness in the land of her birth

So the world is ruled by penguins now

To the Emperor Penguin we have to kowtow

All fun is cancelled, all love put on hold

And Molly The Brave, in prison behold!

So don't be fooled, the penguins' law wins

In truth they're more evil than Phil Collins

They will take your soul and leave you to die

Whilst having a laugh and eating some pie

Now it's true that this tale's just a myth, just a fable

But the truth about penguins is they're highly unstable

Even Satan has nightmares they'll take him away

And make him into a slave for a day

So be careful, hold on to the things you hold dear

And look around, watch out if there's a penguin near

They're worse than the Sandman, worse than Smurfs

Your life depends on these wise words!
