Oh How Then

The powers that be took us into this mess

And we as people decided to act

Yes that’s right we banged our pans and spoons

Screeching ENOUGH IS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

You there over there yes you in Europe

With your plans and rules and laws and languages

We are English and do not want your rules

Or to be ruled by you from citadel Europe

What will we gain from this?

Having to use Metric instead of Imperial

Pity the market traders now in jail

For refusing to bow down to Metric

In a clink with druggies and gangsters and murderers

But the Euro MPs should be inside

For maiming our lives with their red tape

From fishing quotas to banana size

They say jump and we ask how high?

So we did jump and jumped out of Europe!

Some wanted to Remain but I voted Leave

Yet what a mess it created oh dear

May’s leadership is tatty just like her

And her job is hard even damned

But there is No Deal with the chaos it brings

Brings to us in England and you in Europe

What will it really bring?

A sense of leaving but then what?

Increased air fares, a need for Visas and new wars???

Time will tell...

NEVER EVER FORGET THEIR STORIES...

Be it the 5 MITSUBISHI A5M CLAUDEs that ditch due to fuel starvation in the sea

Or the 3 FOCKE WULF 190s that hit a German mountain. One had a red nose...

Or those perished on TINTWISTLE KNARR (AVRO LANCASTER-7 DEAD, 3X HAWKER HURRICANES-3 DEAD, LOCKHEED P-38 LIGHTNING-1DEAD)

And on and on and on and on...

There were 10,000 TEN THOUSAND training plane wrecks in the UK in world war2. Yet some was actual war acts eg the AIRSPEED OXFORD TRAINER that rammed a MESSERSCHMITT 410 HORNISSE... 7 dead... 2 German 5 UK...

And what of the woman who asked me for help who said her dad splashed a JUNKERS JU88G nightfighter with hand held infantry weapons? The 88 hit a house and 5 died there...

This is all down to my DAD RIP. His influence... Son this is a warplane...

ISSUANCES

MY DAD SAID I REFUSED TO GO...

TO JOIN THE AIR FORCE...

BUT I HAD TOO MUCH

SHIT IN MY HEAD

AS I DO TODAY

AND THE SAME ME

ONLY I CAN DEAL WITH I

SO DO I DO IT OR NOT???

SLAY THIS BEAST WITHIN

DEFEAT IT WITH CREATIVITY

WRITING CAREER SINCE 96

TATTOOED SINCE 91

DRINKING SINCE 83

HIKING SINCE 75

IN MY HEAD IT'S NEVER ENUFF

WOMEN DO NOT

EVEN GET A MENTION...

Peace Future Peace

I live in a world where you fucked me over

Stole my wife who was a damn mover

Worst of all you shot my dog

Burnt my car out even if it was junk

You tattooed my name on your head

And stalked me over six US states

But I am smarter than you

For I exist in your head

And live in plain site

Defeat me?

I win…

Before She Fades (On a dream who are you girl?)

I see you you've come back to see me

You all in black trouser suit

With a bit if lipstick not needed

You're slim and medium height with tied back hair

We get on well you tell me how you feel

I say I've done a poem for you

I fumble in my book to find it

So many messy pieces here

Where is it?

I was just working on the bit where we need sex

Yet me being tired got in the way

You tell me things and do so now

That you are horny and want me

I know your long workday will vanish

What we should do now is screw hard like strangers

For we still are arnt we?

Me the mess, the messy writer, you the normal gal

I see you before me as I did the last 3 Saturdays

We will go now to be together

I am grateful you are here

Please know that and I do love you

I who can't even organize my poem book

I need a new journal I'll steal one from work

Come my dear you look lovely in my dream

Whisper me your name dream lady

I love you please don't vanish

I know you're real in my dream and head

But different here in my words

For I forget things but not how I feel

I'm sorry you've been hurt before

I like it when you smile...

Principal Party

I imagine the story that is possible

With two ladies with bodies like that

Legs like you wouldn't believe

A skirt so short it was awesome

And impossible to say exactly

Where butt muscles began

And where her thigh ones ended

And what boobs on her sis

A bit too big but equally great

Each one a Goddess equal to God

His creations paled into insignificance

The evidence was right here before me

If only you could see or find out

Do I say if I found out or not?

Good question...

Layered Cake

I’ve known many unsavory characters from my home city of Manchester

There’s the ex-demolition guy who took a great dislike to me

Did he have visions of blowing me up instead of my old car?

He had a trainee apprentice in the wings and had connections

I knew several football hooligans who fought for what?

For England, their home team, themselves, for violence?

Each told me a story of Rah-Rah-Rah Here We Go Lads!

One fought riot cops in Poland and was jailed in a sanatorium

He somehow escaped and was banned from Poland for life

The other was a City fan and battled his opponents in Greece

He was 45 and still loved a good tear up on match days

Drug dealers prominently featured in the city and surrounding towns

One dark night in my home town I saw an ex-dealer shot dead

I heard then saw the BMW getaway car zoom off

Oddly I thought I heard two gunshots after it had gone

The ex-dealer’s wife asked me to help and I tried to

But there was nothing I could do but call the medics

Chavs are the worst in my town and others

Council House And Violent and ruling the tough estates

With their violence, crime, dealing and other acts

Not going to school or college but sleeping all day

And drinking and smoking weed all night with their underage gals

But when do they have time to do their crimes?

There are the plastic gangsters who think they’re it

Maybe with their mates they can burst a paper bag

Or intimidate innocent law abiding citizens who are meek

Further afield I met a gangster in Liverpool who was alrite

He liked a right tear up and had a job to appear legit

But his real work was in various things like drugs, guns and cash

He offered me a job as a courier because my car was old and gray

I said no for its easy in and never ever out

The English racists were a breed apart who hated all skins

I got on with one who liked metal but we clashed on views

He loathed foreigners and wanted them all out

And insisted that white men stick to white women

Most scary of all I met a killer on the run in Newcastle

We were on the ship disco by the river having fun

This guy had a real flirty wife called Carmen

I danced with her and later talked to her husband

He schitzed out and went mad but not for chatting with his gal

I asked what’s wrong and he admitted to killing a man

And said he didn’t know me from Adam so be quiet!

He was a Londoner and I said you did it for your own reasons

His wife consoled him when he had flashbacks

Ex-servicemen gave me a few problems over the years

I was drinking in my local pub when a para and a marine argued

First with one another and then with me over who was best

They hated the air force and me wearing an Air Force badge

Maybe they needed a war to get their heads blown off?

There were many fighters who lived to fight and cause trouble

Some had a go at me I tried to avoid their skills but heard their stories

Some were nutters but others quite pally and fine lads

There were brawlers, boxers, Martial Artists and more

Near the Mess House pub in Oldham guys die by a single punch

These savory and unsavory characters were the fabric of England

Some I remember and many I forget for right or wrong reasons

Their stories live on here my poem for you to judge

law flaw

good man sitting over there

wondering exactly where

his wife abruptly ran to

after a trip to the zoo

to meet a plastic gangster

who was a real prankster

in this confused tale

for students from yale

who studied serious law

but missed the damn flaw

Comred

The Comred monster was hungry and awoke after a decade asleep

He would eat his fill of the people on the beach upon release

But first he washed his balls using bleach and a toothbrush

Then went and fucked six high class hookers without paying

After it was time for a few beers and countdown to the celebration

The huge door opened and he pranced down to the beach

He looked like a lady body and pumped up his false tits

People saw the Comred dancing on the sand and screamed

They knew they would die soon and be his next meal!

With three gay twirls and a lifting of his extra short skirt he struck

Faster than sight he lunged into a group of five friends

His claws and feet made short work of the petrified gals and guys

Disabling them so they couldn’t flee or resist before he fed

Then the Comred started biting and chewing and drinking their juices

It was terrible and fascinating to see people reduced to nothing

Those who watched or were frozen in place were next

As were slow movers or disabled or elderly they were all flesh

And all died screaming and tasted the same when bitten and liquified

This is how it was when the Comred fed during the Freedom Festival

It was both entertaining and excellent population control

The butcherous monster ran amok and would soon be full

Then he needed to be captured and returned to his lair

So the waves could wash what blood remained off the pristine beach

And countdown began to the next festival in a decade’s time

Why Stop at Ten?

When you can have eleven poems

And enter into his world, his head

What do you think, is it safe or vile?

Did you find something familiar

Or were you lost in his world

Forsaken in a territory of what?

If you emerge do tell me...
