You’re not my child

And no one had a right to say you were

Your Mother owes you to your own Father

But, here you are, keeping me from dreaming

Catalina, stop screaming

I’ve given you a bottle

You’ve eaten all you could

Of course, you would be picky with your food

So, there you are, a nightmare, always beaming

Catalina, stop screaming

So, here, watch some T.V., kid

For some, it has been a savior

Just lock the door behind me and your Mom will explain later

And, off I go, the night time’s always seeming

Catalina, stop screaming
